Ill start off this thread by saying my DM doesnt like Drow very much...
Just say I know this cleric of Vhaeraun, and he has a protecter. What if the protector failed to save the cleric and the cleric died. BUT he got the cleric ressurected. How could the protector get back on good terms with his god if he let the cleric die? hint hint wink wink.
Oh ya did I tell you my DM hates Drow?

:-D The protector needs to seek out a cleric of his alignment and seek them to cast atonment on you.
To make it not so easy he could have your..I am um the protector to go on a quest of the cleric's choosing.
If he passes, the spell is granted and he has atoned.

*panics* what if he made a deal this human healer to get him revived. (60% of the earnings) on the quest we are doing. In fufilling the human healer's deal will that be consideration for atonement or does it have to be of the clerics dealing?

oh ya also the reason he even had one thought of doing this to try to lessen Lord Vhaeraun's wrath. I would rather take the punishment of making a deal with a cleric of helm over punishment from the death of a clergyman. Banishment too, that wouldnt not be cool.

The cleric who gives the atonement must be of the same alignment as the character receiving the spell. If they are not of the same alignment, then the protector must change his or seek a cleric of his faith (regardless of alignment because they worship the same deity) to give him the atonement he seeks. Makes since as there are no loopholes in honest forgiveness.  For that is what Atonment is: 1 : obsolete : RECONCILIATION 2 : the reconciliation of God and man through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ (in game terms this would be the quest option and succeeding)3 : reparation for an offense or injury : SATISFACTION 4 : The exemplifying of man's oneness with his God |

Vhaeraun, For some reasons I had to ally with some humans and dwarfs  in order to attack and destroy a Lolth priestess and thus attract more of our race to your temple. Anyway, is anyone on the Sojourney Menzo server? I have a soon-to-be existant drow Cleric of Vhaeraun that will spread Vhaeraun's will in the City of the Spider Queen!!! Don't worry, I'm too crafty to get killed. Or maybe I will get killed, then I'll just make another char after Uri'liir's bro Xazzast.

Oh, and why dont you have forums for Ghaunadaur or Kiraneslee? They are also drow gods, just not related to anyone in the drow pantheon like the others.
I may serve Vhaeraun as Uri'liir but as Xazzast Ghaunadaur is my master!!!!!!!!
